Runevad, who was succeeded as Vestas CEO by Henrik Andersen, remains chairman of the board of MHI Vestas, the group’s 50/50 offshore wind joint venture. He is up for election to the Vestas board with Karl-Henrik Sundstrom, former CEO of packaging group Stora Enso who like Runevad has a background at Swedish telecoms group Ericsson.
